What is self storage?
Self storage is used by a variety of clients - householders wishing to free up space in their homes, classic car, boat and caravan owners, retailers with excess stock, and a variety of office based businesses such as insurance companies and solicitors, who are required to keep records in a secure, safe, environment.
What is your minimum storage time?
What if I don't need as much space – do I still have to pay for a larger storage unit?
No you only pay for the amount of space you use. Make Space can transfer your goods to a smaller or larger unit as required.
Do you have packaging materials - boxes, tape, bubble wrap?
Yes we can supply boxes, tape, bubble wrap, pallets and anything you might think you will need to store your goods.
Can you pick up my goods if I can't transport them to you?
Do I have to sign a licence agreement with you?
Yes for a minimum term of 14 days

Do I pay weekly or monthly?
Monthly in advance by Direct Debit or standing order
What are your opening hours?
Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 4pm
Where are your storage units located?
Just off Belfast's A24 in south Belfast
What security do you have?
CCTV and alarm throughout
Are my goods insuranced?
Your goods do need to be insured whilst they are in storage. Some contents insurance providers cover “goods in storage” - you should check prior to renting a unit with us. Alternatively we can arrange cover for you.
What size are your storage units?
Our units start at 16 square feet right up to units of 500 square feet.
What do I need to bring with me on move-in day?
2 forms of ID
Will I need a padlock? Do you sell them?
Yes we sell padlocks or alternatively you can bring your own.
What goods can you not store?
Anything flammable, or hazardous cannot be stored in the units.
Who are we?
Make Space was started from scratch and advice from storage professionals throughout Europe lead to the setting up of storage units which provide easy and safe access to your belongings.
